Bred with purpose, ridden with care

Our breeding programme is based on quality, vision and respect for the horse. At Assembly Stables, we believe in breeding with a clear goal in mind: to produce show jumpers that possess natural ability, character, health and the right attitude. Each year, we breed a select number of foals from carefully selected mares with a proven sporting pedigree.

Our broodmares descend from strong maternal lines, which have proven their worth in both sport and breeding. By combining these with stallions of international calibre, we aim to produce foals with balance, power, technique and attitude. Rearing is done quietly, with attention to the individual, so that each horse can develop optimally.

A fine example of our breeding work is Twinklingstar A.S. (by Kashmir van Schuttershof out of Janien/Creool), a gelding who has performed successfully at 1.50m level. For us, such results confirm that passion and meticulous care in breeding lead to consistent sporting success.

Esther Manders is a recognised breeder within the AES studbook, where she is also active as a judge at stallion inspections and involved in various breeding projects. In this way, she always stays abreast of the latest developments in genetics and bloodlines, and knows how to translate this into practice.

We do not breed for the masses, but for sport. Every foal is born with a purpose: to grow into a champion, under the guidance of a vision that has produced results for many years.
